Saint Gastyn’s Church wedding ceremony
Saint Gastyn’s Church is a gorgeous church located in Brecon Beacons (National Park in Wales), it dates from 1718, and was Re-built in 1848-50. And I need to admit it is a very beautiful and a very photographer-friendly church (thanks to the vicar). Sam and Ellie got married at Saint Gastyn’s Church in August 2022, and it was such a lovely ceremony, with beautiful hymns, readings and vows!
Tall John’s wedding
The wedding reception and bridal and groom preps all took place at the Tall John’s house.
Tall John’s house was built in 1588, and nowadays is a popular Welsh wedding venue. I was privileged to photograph quite a few weddings here:
Tall John’s house is known by its bespoke service and reputation and even won a competition as the best value for money for bed and breakfast accommodation (on Channel 4s programme Four In A Bed in 2017).
Sam and Ellie’s August wedding was an amazing one! The venue, the church were all full of flower arrangements, it was so beautiful! The day itself was very relaxed, emotional, and the couple asked me to focus on candid moments, so the only staged photos were groups and family shots and some photos of the bride and groom by the venue and church. I hope you enjoy this story I told through the photos.
