Tall John’s house and Brecon Beacons wedding photography
Tall John’s house manor is an extremely popular Welsh wedding venue. It is located in Brecon, and was built in 1588. Tall John’s house offers accommodation, Tall John’s house is dog-friendly (I assume cats friendly too), Tall John’s house offers options – you can hold your ceremony outdoors at the lawn, outdoors by the barn, inside in the barn, or in the manor house.

This is the 5-star review the couple left for me:
“Anna was amazing. We have had a very small ceremony of 11 people, and I have to say we’ve been wondering if it will be too much for several hours of photos. But Anna has managed to blend in and take most amazing pictures. Most of the time we didn’t even realise she’s been taking them. She’s managed to capture the emotions of the day so well. The photos have been sent to us very quickly and on a beautiful USB stick. Highly recommend Anna and Happywed for anyone, she offers fantastic services and you will have gorgeous photographs to remember your special day forever”.
Gosia and Daniel’s wedding day was so intimate. There were no more than 10 guests, bride and groom themselves, and their two Cardigan corgis Archer and Zoe. And me – their wedding photographer.
The ceremony took place outdoors, by the barn. The weather was a bit unpredictable that day, so the area with the canopy seemed to be a safer variant than a lawn ceremony.
Straight after the ceremony, the bride and groom cut their lovely cake in the manor house, and we went outside for some group photos.

Gosia and Daniel booked my ‘’Half day+’’ wedding photography package which includes 6 hours of coverage. And I need to say that I delivered 500+ photos (the amount I deliver for Full day bookings). Now I’ll explain why. No, not because of corgis LOL
Firstly, The Tall John’s house itself offers hundreds of lovely spots where wedding photos can be taken (swing, ancient wall, lawn, trees etc). Secondly, we went for photos to Llangorse Lake and Llangynidr Car Park – such beautiful places in the Brecon beacons.

After we came back from the couple’s photoshoot, it was time for some drinks, canapes and real polish sausage Gosia’s father cooked himself.
It wasn’t my first time photographing a wedding at Tall John’s house, and I have a few more upcoming weddings there. Plese take a look at Rosie and Jack’s outdoor wedding ceremony at Tall John’s house, their wedding photos are so gorgeous as well!
