Pencoed House wedding photography

Harriet and Joseph’s wedding marked the beginning of my wedding photography season for 2024.

And their wedding day was an absolute dream and quite an easy start. Perfect weather and a breeze to get to the venue – what a difference from the storm in 2022 (my first wedding of 2022) and the roadworks in 2023 (my first wedding of 2023).

Pencoed House wedding

With Pencoed House awaiting, a wave of excitement swept through Lanelay Hall Hotel in Pontyclun as Harriet and Joseph and their loved ones prepared for the ceremony.

After the “I do’s” and a few happy tears, it was family photos time! Despite the mild January weather, a quick break inside the cosy Pencoed House venue warmed everyone up before the romantic couple portraits and the group photo finale.

Speeches flowed, laughter filled the air, cake was cut, and sparklers twinkled as I documented it all.

After the first dance, the playlist took a surprising turn with some AC/DC classics, not your typical wedding thing! And I particularly enjoyed it. As if by coincidence, “Thunderstruck” was playing in my car on the way home 🙂
