Kingscote barn wedding photography

It was my first wedding of 2023, and what a day it was! As they say “the beginning is the hardest part”, so it wasn’t easy for me to get to the Kingscote barn, as the main road leading to the barn was closed due to the roadworks. But through the endless country lanes I reached my destination – the Kingscote barn – to capture the wedding day of the amazing couple.

The Kingscote Barn is situated on Binley Farm in Gloucestershire. Since the 12th century the barn, like most other barns, was used to store grain. The Kingscote Barn opened its doors as a wedding venue in 2006 and since then has welcomed more than 1500 happy couples.  It is an amazing venue, and it seems that the wedding team there really loves their work.

It was a lovely and busy winter morning for the bride and her bridal party, who were getting ready at the bridal suite, and for the groom and groomsmen who were getting ready at newly built eco-accommodation lodges nearby. I captured all the preparations, the beautiful and emotional ceremony at the Kingscote barn, and we even managed to have some group photos outdoors (February wedding!), and some couple’s photos by the barn.

It was the most amazing day for Karen and Ade! And it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of it.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you are getting married at Kingscote barn and are looking for a wedding photographer who is familiar with the venue (I even know nearly all the local country lanes now).
