Yate town council wedding photography | Bristol | Jennifer and Brett
Jennifer and Brett got married on 22nd July 2023. And this is how they picked the date: the couple found a pattern in the past 10 years of weather data and picked July 22nd for their wedding, hoping to avoid rain. Because July 22nd has been a rain-free day for 10 consecutive years.
But in 2023, it rained on their special day…
Yate town council wedding ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place at Yate town council. It was so lovely and emotional, and after the ceremony it stopped raining for a while, so I managed to capture all official group and family photos at the front of the Yate town council.
Somerdale pavilion wedding reception
The wedding reception took place at the Somerdale pavilion in Keynsham, a health and leisure centre near Bristol. The story of Somerdale pavilion began with the Fry family’s 1920s move and their vision for a community hub surrounding their chocolate factory. In 2019 the Somerdale Pavilion Trust, formed by the St Monica Trust in 2019, took over management of the Somerdale Pavilion.
The wedding reception was lovely and relaxed. Instead of formal courses, the wedding reception offered a relaxed feast with a gorgeous buffet.
Somerdale pavilion wedding photography
Jennifer and Brett asked me to capture the day as it was, without too much posing, and I absolutely enjoyed capturing the candid emotions both during the ceremony at Yate town council and the reception at Somerdale pavilion. Please feel free to get in touch with me if you would like your wedding day to be captured in a relaxed documentary style.
