Oxwich bay hotel wedding photography
When Ryan and Keshena were discussing their vision of their early September wedding at Oxwich with me, they told me the beach photos were a must. Even if it rains. But who could imagine that a heatwave would strike in early September? So the beach had been claimed by hundreds of sunbathers and swimmers.
This presented a delightful editing challenge for me and I gently brushed them away from the photos. Well, to be honest beach photos are quite an easy task, the background is mostly plain there. But I am not so skilled at removing the crowds in photos taken in cities and re-create the original view of buildings. It’s like solving an architectural puzzle, pixel by pixel!
Oxwich bay hotel weddings
Keshena and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the New Gower hotel before heading to the Oxwich bay hotel for the ceremony.
As Ryan and his best man prepared for the big day, the second photographer captured their morning, while I focused on Keshena and her bridesmaids.
Couple booked me + second shooted to capture the groom preps, the different angle of the ceremony. Later while I documented the joy of family and friends gathering near the hotel, the second photographer did take guest portraits within the marquee.
