Oxwich bay hotel has been in business for more than 60 years and has won a number of prestigious awards.Originally the building of the rectory, it was built in 1788.

In 1959, owner Ian Williams’ parents bought the old rectory from the church in Wales and ran it as a B&B known as Cliffside.In 1975, the name was changed to The Oxwich Bay Hotel. Mollie and Matthew got married at Oxwich Bay Hotel on May 31, 2023, a date and venue with special significance for both families. Not only did both the bride’s and groom’s parents get married on May 31st, but the groom’s brother is also getting married on that date next year. Additionally, the groom’s parents were married at the same venue, Oxwich Bay Hotel.
