Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel wedding photography
Cwrt Bleddyn hotel has existed since the 16th Century when it was a private manor house. It became a hotel in the mid 20th century and was further extended and completely refurbished in 1988.
It wasn’t my first time photographing a wedding at Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel (also known as Ramada resort in Usk). But it was the first time when I photographed “all day” at Cwrt Bleddyn – from the bridal preps till the evening celebrations. I photographed one more wedding, where the couple actually got married at another place in Usk but decided to go to the beautiful Cwrt Bleddyn’s gardens for some photos of them two.
Cwrt Bleddyn (Ramada Resort) Usk wedding
Amy and John actually got married 13 years ago, and always said they’d do it again and they did it again in 2022! So as you may understand there were no official registrars. And the emotional and personalised wedding ceremony was conducted by a celebrant. The wedding ceremony was followed by confetti, group photos and a couple’s photoshoot.
The weather was very typical for the Welsh summer – it was cloudy, with some tiny occasional showers. Though it wasn’t typical for the hot summer-2022. Amy and John were happy that it was much cooler on their wedding day, as all the week before their wedding day there was a heatwave that was affecting South Wales.
