Coombe Lodge wedding photography

From Joshua and Rebecca’s wedding I photographed at Coombe Lodge in Blagdon in November to Emmy and Matt’s recent one in April, this venue always seems to possess a fairy-tale quality in my photographs.

Coombe Lodge, near Bristol, was commissioned by the Wills family (of tobacco fame) and built between 1928-1932. Designed as a Jacobean-style manor by Sir George Oatley, it became a family home, then a staff college, and now is a wedding and events venue.

Emmy and Matt celebrated their beautiful wedding at Coombe lodge, surrounded by their family and friends, blessed with pleasant, cloudy weather that culminated in a stunning golden hour sunset.

The majority of the photos I took for Emmy and Matt were candids, but I also included posed portraits featuring the couple and their daughter, the couple by themselves, and naturally, some beautiful sunset pictures of them, and assorted family and group photos.
