The original Coombe Lodge was built in 1759. The current Coombe Lodge was built in 1928-1932. The house itself is a beautiful example of early 20th-century architecture, with stunning interiors and landscaped gardens.

Joshua and Rebecca got married at Coombe lodge Blagdon in November 2024, and it was such a lovely wedding with only closest family and friends present. The weather was fantastic, it’s what I usually tell my couples – “You can get married on random Wednesday in November or February and get nicer weather than on popular July’s Saturday date”.

And the colours… How Beautiful are the golden and red leaves… 

The ceremony at Coombe Lodge was incredibly moving, filled with heartfelt vows and tender glances exchanged between the newlyweds. Following the ceremony, I captured the confetti shot, group photographs and portraits of the newlyweds. 

The speeches were lovely! After dinner, everyone mingled, played casino games, enjoyed the cake cutting, and then it was time for the first dance and the party!
