Wedding ceremony at St. Mary & St. James church in Taff’s Well, Cardiff
Sally and Lyndon tied the knot at The Anglican church of St Mary and St James in Taffs Well. It’s quite an old church (it dates from 1879 and is located on Church Street).
This winter wedding day started for me with bridal preparations in the Thornhill area of Cardiff, and I have to admit that Sally and her bridesmaids looked absolutely amazing! I also managed to take photos of one of two cats, who was attracted by the bridesmaids’ bouquets and especially the cotton balls parts of it.
The wedding ceremony was so lovely, with lots of laughter, with family and friends present. Sally was walking down the aisle on her own, and she managed to give a nice smile literally to everyone present.
After the ceremony, there was time for some group shots and couple’s photographs in St Mary and St James church gardens.
Wedding reception at Fagins Craft Beer House & Art Cafe
The wedding reception took place at Fagins Craft Beer House & Art Café (located in the northern end of Taffs Well with outstanding views on Garth mountain). The venue was so lovely decorated – there were some Christmas ornaments, plus wedding bits, and wedding Christmas-themed details as well. And generally, there were many amazing artworks displayed on the walls. I absolutely loved the way the venue looked that day.
The wedding reception was relaxed and lovely, with lots of laughter, jokes, amazing speeches from the groom and his best man. The first dance started with Sally and Lyndon dancing first, and then their closest family members joined them and gave them so many hugs.
