Sian and Jack’s wedding took place on the 5th of June 2021. And it is the only wedding I have shot since early January 2021.
Since then some of The Covid-19 related restrictions had been lifted. And small weddings were allowed, but 99 percent of my April-June couples decided to postpone their big days. So you probably can imagine what a pleasure it was for me to take the photographs again, to enjoy the emotional bridal preparations. And finally to tell a visual story of this nice and relaxed wedding day.
Wedding at st. Mary’s church (Pennard)
The beautiful marriage ceremony took place at the st. Mary’s church (Pennard). By the way, the priest was so lovely, his jokes helped the couple to feel relaxed.
The weather in the afternoon was amazing! So it permitted us to take a few photographs at a place called Notthill overlooking the Three cliffs bay.
Wedding reception at the Penmaen and Nicholaston village hall
The reception took place at the Penmaen and Nicholaston village hall in the marquee that was placed outdoors. By the way the views there were outstanding! We were lucky and managed to take the group shots there before it started raining. Basically, no one expected the rain, but the bride’s father told us: “If you can’t see North Somerset from here it means it’s raining. If you can see it – it means it is going to rain”. However the rainy evening did not affect the party at all, guests were dancing and having a great time.
I would highly recommend the band that performed at the wedding (the lady’s voice is so AMAZING).
