The Talbot at Knightwick wedding photography

I am delighted to share these colourful wedding photography highlights with you. Roy and Caroline got married in July 2022 at The Talbot at Knightwick and what a day it was! Sunny, warm, and it’s the day I drove the most in July. Even a wedding I captured in Pembroke in July didn’t beat the record mileage I’ve done during this beautiful day 😉

So… The Talbot at Knightwick… It’s an unique pub situated in Worcestershire, in the shadows of the Malvern Hills. It’s a grade II listed building, which has been an attraction to the local community since the 15th century.  The Talbot has 11 en-suite boutique bedrooms, and I actually met Caroline and her bridesmaids in one of them in the morning. It was a very relaxed morning, and when everyone was ready, a small retro blue car arrived to pick up Caroline and take her to the St Mary’s Church Donnington.

St Mary’s Church Donnington wedding ceremony

St Mary’s church was built in 1840 after Joseph Hansom, the vicar, had been on a holiday to the Isle of Wight, where he was inspired by a neo-Norman church. It was the only time when I was late for the ceremony (even the bride was on time), but unfortunately the road between Talbot at Knightwick and the church at some point was quite narrow, and because I know how to reverse my car, I had to reverse and give way to oncoming traffic.

The ceremony was really lovely, emotional, and beautiful, I captured so many gorgeous photos! The bride was singing the hymns so beautifully so I had a quick thought that she was probably going to sing something in the evening during the speeches, and I was right 😉 After the ceremony guests threw some confetti for the newlyweds, and we headed to the Croome Court Park Gardens to take some group photos and photos of the bride and groom.

Croome Court Park Gardens wedding photography

Croome Court Park Gardens is a lovely place and it is a very attractive touristic location. There are quite a few interesting places to visit: lake and river, statues, temples and other buildings.

Croome Court Park Gardens are also a perfect choice if you want to get some stunning wedding photographs! As I already mentioned it was a sunny July day, and the landscape looked absolutely amazing: high yellow grass, blue skies, huge trees… So Caroline and Roy enjoyed their walk, and also had many assorted photos taken at Croome Court Gardens. After the photos were taken we drove back to the Talbot at Knightwick where evening celebrations took place.

If you enjoyed these lovely candids and highlights of Roy and Caroline’s wedding (I am pretty sure you did), please feel free to get in touch.
