Elmore court wedding photography
Elmore Court dates back to the 13th Century and even before… And the present owner Anselm Guise has 750 years of continuous family ownership of the estate. It’s breathtaking, and very impressive, especially for me, as in Eastern Europe (where I am from) my family was robbed a multiple of times only during the 20th century, houses were repossessed in the favour of the Soviet Union government etc. Sad story.
So back to the Elmore court. It is an adorable venue, just beautiful, and a gorgeous place to celebrate the marriage.
Elmore court wedding
Chelsea and her bridesmaids and mother were getting ready at Elmore court whilst I was stuck in traffic at M4, there was an accident there, so it took me 3 hours (instead of 1) to reach my destination. Anyway, I managed to take gorgeous photos of the bridal party getting ready, before we headed to the ceremony at the neighborhood church.
St. John the Baptist Church (Elmore) wedding
Chelsea and Benjamin got married at St. John the Baptist Church, it is located very close to Elmore court, and it was founded in the 13th century. After the ceremony it was time for some confetti… Actually, those wasn’t confetti, those were soap bubbles, and I absolutely loved the idea of using the soap bubbles instead of petals! It looks gorgeous on photos as well! They don’t get stuck in your hair, they’re soft and flying aroung so gently.
Elmore court wedding reception
After the ceremony we drove back to the Elmore court, where newlyweds had some group photos with their nearest and dearest. I also took some lovely photos of Chelsea and Benjamin by the manor, and the high grass field, and the barn, and under a huge tree – there were so many beautiful backdrops there!
Evening celebrations were absolutely lovely and the first dance was so beautiful!
I am looking forward to return to the Elmore court and photograph more amazing weddings there, so please feel free to contact me if you are getting married at Elmore court.
