Ridgeway golf club opened its doors to the golfing public in 1996, and it is located on top of Caerphilly mountain, just between Cardiff and Caerphilly in South Wales. It’s only a 10 minutes drive from my home so I am absolutely looking forward to booking more weddings at the Ridgeway golf club Marquee.

Saskia and Joel got married at Ridgeway golf club in June 2022, and it was an amazing hot summer day. I started my day with Saskia and Joel in Oakdale in Blackwood, where they were getting ready. Saskia in her and Joel’s newly refurbished house, and Joel – in his parents home just opposite the couple’s one.

The ceremony took place outdoors by the Marquee at Ridgeway Club, and was so lovely and emotional! The weather was quite hot and sunny, but at least there was some breeze, so the heat was resistable unless you are the groom wearing the suit, waistcoat and a shirt 😉

After the ceremony it was time for some group photos. And soon after I took quite a large amount of assorted group shots, the Ridgeway golf club manager took us in a golf cart for some bride and groom photos on the grounds.

The wedding breakfast was absolutely lovely, the speeches were amazing and funny, and the party was unforgettable – with so much laughter, dancing and entertainment!
