Elliot+Valentina. Marriage registration ceremony at Cardiff City Hall 

Elliot and Valentina are the first couple I’ve photographed in Cardiff. 

We just moved to the UK, and start everything from zero, even less than zero, because we had no relatives, no friends here, and no support. And when we started receiving enquiries about our wedding photography and videography services it made us so happy, it meant that we can proceed doing what we like (capturing weddings).

When I met Valentina to discuss their small intimate wedding we were discussing it in the Romanian language – one of the languages I speak, and it was funny, I felt that I am not really far away from home.

Here are some candid moments from Elliot and Valentina’s marriage registration at Cardiff Register Office in Cardiff City hall. “Afterparty” took place in french Cote restaurant in Cardiff Bay where newlyweds and their relatives enjoyed sweet and funny Halloween wedding cake.
