Glen Yr Afon Hotel wedding photography

Glen Yr Afon Hotel is an award-winning wedding venue in Usk, Monmouthshire. The original house was built in 1868 and over the next 100 or so years the property changed owners and was extended several times. Since March 1974 Glen Yr Afon has welcomed many events and weddings.

After postponing their big day, Tony and Megan finally got married at the Glen yr Afon, in the beautiful library. It was such a lovely and intimate ceremony with only the closest family members present. With so many smiles, tears, and emotions on their faces!

The newlyweds enjoyed the most beautiful February weather anyone could only imagine. It was sunny and warm, and the light was simply perfect from the point of view of a wedding photographer.

By the way, what a difference one week makes! A week before Megan and Tony’s wedding I photographed my first wedding of 2022 at King Arthur hotel, and the met office issued a red alert warning for the weather.
