Glewstone Court, a historic Herefordshire country house built around 1810 for Charles Ballinger, is now a wedding venue and is listed on the English Heritage Register. It was such a treat to photograph at this venue again.

I met Mollie and Jamie at their friend’s Georgia and Aaron’s 2023 wedding at Black Mountain Lodge in Herefordshire. Apparently they liked my approach and photos so they booked me for their 2025 wedding at Glewstone court.

It was a really lovely wedding day, right in the middle of March. We had such nice weather, and the golden hour was just perfect. Mollie and Jamie booked a March wedding, with its unpredictable weather, and were rewarded with a golden hour that even summer weddings envy.

It was such a lovely, emotional ceremony for Mollie and Jamie at Glewstone court , with all their closest friends and family there. And their dog was there too, and he was so well-behaved! No confetti followed the ceremony; instead, lovely (and some so funny) sparkles preceded the first dance.

Following the lovely first dance, Mollie shared a series of dances with her stepfather and then her brother, the bridesman, creating a beautiful mix of funny and touching emotional moments.

The original Coombe Lodge was built in 1759. The current Coombe Lodge was built in 1928-1932. The house itself is a beautiful example of early 20th-century architecture, with stunning interiors and landscaped gardens.

Joshua and Rebecca got married at Coombe lodge Blagdon in November 2024, and it was such a lovely wedding with only closest family and friends present. The weather was fantastic, it’s what I usually tell my couples – “You can get married on random Wednesday in November or February and get nicer weather than on popular July’s Saturday date”.

And the colours… How Beautiful are the golden and red leaves… 

The ceremony at Coombe Lodge was incredibly moving, filled with heartfelt vows and tender glances exchanged between the newlyweds. Following the ceremony, I captured the confetti shot, group photographs and portraits of the newlyweds. 

The speeches were lovely! After dinner, everyone mingled, played casino games, enjoyed the cake cutting, and then it was time for the first dance and the party!

The Roman Baths in Bath, England, were built around 70 AD by the Romans. They were a significant social and religious center for the Romans, featuring a temple dedicated to the goddess Sulis-Minerva. 

Nowadays The Roman Baths in Bath are a major tourist attraction and a popular wedding venue.

and I was thrilled to return in October to capture Daniel and Luke’s special day.

During the ceremony to ensure all guests could witness the couple’s vows, the ceremony seating was arranged in a theater-style configuration, allowing everyone to enjoy an unobstructed view of the grooms’ faces.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed canapés and mingled. We then captured portraits of the newlyweds near the enchanting “Great Bath” within the Roman Baths, followed by group photos and a confetti celebration outside. 

The reception continued with heartfelt speeches and a cake-cutting ceremony.

Ridgeway golf club hosts many weddings, and I’m fortunate to photograph some of them.

Janet and Jane wanted their photos to feel super natural, so we didn’t do too many “posed” shots. I mostly focused on capturing the candid moments that unfolded throughout the day.

And of course we were driven around the golf course in a buggy for a beautiful short couple’s  photo session.

Canada Lodge, a popular wedding venue near Cardiff, started as a small fisherman’s hut.

I photographed at the venue so many times, and it’s one of my favourite wedding venues in South Wales.

It was a lovely morning: the grooms prepared together in the wooden cabin and then presented gifts to their loved ones. The ceremony was so emotional, the vows were incredibly sincere, and everyone, including me, was brought to tears. I also couldn’t help but cry during the speeches and even while editing the photos.

Everything seemed to fall into place for the couple’s beautiful early June wedding. Even the weather cooperated. Some guests even joked that Danny must have booked the sunshine for his and Eliis’ outdoor wedding ceremony at Dyffryn Springs himselves.

Dyffryn Springs… Amazing 6 spring-fed lakes for fishing near Cardiff and a wedding venue with breathtaking views! Here’s where Danny and Ellis tied the knot in presence of their family and friends.

Wedding ceremony at Dyffryn Springs was filled with tears and laughter, and the beautiful music played by a very talented violinist.  After the ceremony it was time for couple’s photos with retro cars, group photos, mingling, a bit later on the day the caricaturist sketched and the magician amazed the guests at the wedding.

Couple’s friend’s live vocals provided the soundtrack to a breathtaking first dance, and the party that followed was just amazing!

Sant Ffraed House wedding 

John and James got married at Sant Ffraed House in November 2023, surrounded by their lovely families and friends! The air shimmered with an elegant tension as guests, adorned in bow ties and crisp suits, mingled alongside women in graceful black dresses, each silhouette a testament to timeless sophistication. Everyone just looked gorgeous!

The late autumn weather was also perfect, and the camera’s dream came true. After the set of official group and couple’s photos, it was time for guests to mingle whilst I was capturing the candids.

The speeches were so lovely, and the whole day was just a pleasure to capture!

Planning a September wedding at Canada Lodge and Lake in Cardiff, Ciara and Carly dreamt of cool and nice weather.  Little did they know, a scorching heat wave hit Britain in early September 2023. So that early September baked under temperatures that July could only dream of.

Ciara and Carly booked my 6 hours package as they had a twilight wedding with a later ceremony.

And I captured pretty much everything that I would capture during a Full day booking – both brides’ preps, the first look, the ceremony, family and group photos, couple’s portraits, confetti, speeches, candids, the first dance.

The Vale Resort is a golf, spa and leisure hotel, resort and a wedding venue in the Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales. So far I only photographed bridal preps at the Vale resort, with the reception held at Hensol castle:

The ceremony at City hall was so emotional, I absolutely enjoyed capturing the memories for Lucy and Rebecca. The weather was lovely and sunny, so after the ceremony I took a large group photo of “everybody”, and the beautiful couple then headed to the reception at the Vale resort.

At the venue I mostly took candid photos, and the smaller group and family photos, and or of course some lovely photos of Lucy and Rebecca around the venue. Then it was time for a lovely wedding buffet, speeches and dances!

Sophie and Grace’s wedding ceremony was held in the Great House hotel’s beautiful garden. It was a lovely May day with the sun shining brightly. By the way it was the first time I photographed an outdoors wedding ceremony at the Great House hotel in Bridgend, as all the previous couples I photographed there had an indoors ceremony:

Sophie and Grace’s wedding was so relaxed, it was such a pleasure to capture it – the lovely people, the little details, that were so cute and touching, the lovely couple who was so in love and enjoying their big day! As I already said the weather was on our side (well, basically it was the beginning of the heatwave), so I took so many lovely colourful and bright photos outdoors – the ceremony, candids, groups and family photos, then 2 sets of couples’s photos.
