Black mountain lodge wedding photography
What lovely day it was with Georgia and Aaron and their family and friends! They booked our Full day combined wedding photography and videography package.
We started our day with Georgia (captured the lovely bridal preps) before heading to St Paul’s Church, Hereford for the wedding ceremony.
St Paul’s Church, Hereford wedding ceremony
Some other member of Aaron’s family got married at St Paul’s Church in Hereford, so the couple decided to tie the knot at this beautiful church.
The construction of the church began in July 1864. Before the 1860s, residents of Tupsley had to travel at least two miles to attend church in Hampton Bishop of Hereford. Several gentlemen, including R. Davies, T. Ballard, and J. Jay felt that something needed to be done and raised funds to build a church in Tupsley.
The ceremony at St Paul’s Church was as lovely and beautiful as the church ceremony can only be. The couple’s lovely dog was tasked with delivering the ring. However, he did not take the role seriously and tried to play and eat the ring instead when walking down the aisle. It was such a cute moment!
After the ceremony I took some family group photos by the church and everyone headed to the reception at Black mountain lodge.
Black mountain lodge wedding
The Black Mountain Lodge is a lovely wedding venue, surrounded by breathtaking Brecon Beacons National Park Countryside. If you take a look at couples’ photoshoot below, you won’t believe how green the grass was! It was the end of April (which was quite rainy and grey) and finally colours began to become more vivid and saturated!
The reception at The Black Mountain Lodge was amazing, the speeches were thoughtful and funny, and I was so delighted to capture it in a natural story telling way! Natural documentary wedding photography style is gewtting more and more popular. They are a way to capture the special moments of the day and to preserve them for years to come. They can also be a way to share the joy of the wedding with friends and family who were not able to attendso they could feel the atmosmosphere of the day.
So please feel free to contact me if you are getting married at Black mountain lodge or somewhere else in Brecon and looking for a wedding photographer who works in a documentary natural style.
