Wedding Photography at Hensol Castle | Natalia and Mark

Hensol Castle dates back to at least 1419. From its early days to the present, a row of various owners has altered, improved, and added their own individual tastes and designs to the property. In 1926 the Glamorgan County Council bought the estate and used it as a County asylum. This was also a hospital for men and women with learning disabilities.

Nowadays the gorgeous castle is a very demanded Cardiff wedding venue.

Natalia and her large bridal party were getting ready at the Vale hotel. It was a fairly busy morning: they started curling their hair at 6 Am. Cause there was much work to do: only Natalia herself has 5 daughters (and the 6th was on her way). Then her sisters, mother, friends, and stepmother. What a big bridal party it was!

I was just admiring this big family and the way they love each other and maintain their friendship. Her mom and stepmom were even sitting near each other during the reception and laughing, giggling. A perfect example of how to live your life and be kind to each other whatever life brings…

As I already mentioned that Natalia and Mark are proud parents of 5 lovely daughters, you can only imagine how much work the bride has to do during the preps. Usually, the bride is being pampered and helped by others. But Natalia also had to help her littlest ones to dress up, curl their hair, etc.

Natalia and Mark booked our full-day wedding photography and videography package. So we captured every single moment of their big day: bride and groom’s preps, ceremony, group shots, funny speeches, cake cutting, first dance.
