Brinsop court wedding

Brinsop court (14th Century manor house) is a dream wedding venue in Herefordshire surrounded by picturesque farmland. There are no words to describe how beautiful the grounds are, and how many interesting medieval ornaments are there in the Manor’s rooms. Honestly, I was working hard, not wandering around there as in a museum.

Within the manor, there are Elizabethan Library, and Medieval Banqueting Hall – both suitable for the ceremony in case it is raining outdoors. If weather permits then the ceremony can be held in the gorgeous Ancient Courtyard. On the grounds, there’s The Knot Barn that can be used for ceremony/reception and wedding party.

Hannah and her bridal party were getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite called The French Room. I need to mention her lovely bridesmaid who became a mother of the little baby boy just a few days before the wedding day and managed to be a part of Hannah’s big day.

As it was a proper rainy October day, Hannah and Damian had to switch to plan B and got married indoors. So the ceremony took place at

Elizabethan Library. After the ceremony, we headed to the bar area where a choir was singing, and that’s the point when I started crying like a baby. I honestly don’t understand how the ladies can perform such sentimental songs and not cry at the same time. Hannah and her mother had also joined the choir later.

We managed to take some group shots inside, and later when it stopped raining – couples shots outside.

The wedding breakfast took place at the Medieval Banqueting Hall, and I need to admit that the light conditions there are cinematic. It’s quite important – because light, emotions, and composition together create great images.

Evening celebrations (cake cutting, first dance, party) took place in The Knot. It’s a barn-styled building located on the Brinsop court grounds.
