Wedding photography at Llancaiach Fawr Manor
Caerphilly wedding photographer
Oliver and Sarah chose Llancaiach Fawr Manor (a Tudor manor house, near the village of Nelson, located in the heart of the Rhymney Valley in South Wales) to become the place where they get married. The venue offers a fantastic cozy intimate atmosphere, great natural cinematic light, and many opportunities to take lovely photographs.
I really admire their choice (well, actually I like all the historic venues), is it so lovely place – Llancaiach Fawr was built in 1530. And everything inside (furniture, lights, walls, ornaments, etc) looks close to the way it looked when it was built. Later I and bride agreed that it is very good that they don’t keep the smell as it was then:)
The marriage ceremony was so emotional, wedding promises were so touching, so Sarah could not hold back tears.
After the ceremony, I have taken lots of “must-haves” photos – like bride and groom portraits, and various group shots, and then the guests had a nice time socializing outside the venue. The bride also managed to throw her wedding bouquet after the whole group shot was taken, and the lucky man (yes, man) who caught it was her sister’s partner.
Enjoy the photos (Wedding photography at Llancaiach Fawr Manor) and please do not hesitate to contact me if you are looking for a wedding photographer in Wales or Bristol area.
