Thornbury Castle Hotel wedding photography
Thornbury Castle was originally constructed by Edward Stafford, the 3rd Duke of Buckingham, in the early 16th century. The construction was never fully completed due to the Duke’s fall from grace and subsequent execution. King Henry VIII then took possession of the unfinished castle and visited it with Anne Boleyn in 1535. After a period of neglect, the castle was restored and passed through various hands before falling into ruin. In the 1960s, it was restored once again and transformed into a luxury hotel. I absolutely love working at Thornbury castle and it was such a pleasure to capture Maria and Ed’s wedding ceremony at Thornbury Castle.
Thornbury Castle wedding photography
Maria and Ed booked my Ceremony package to capture the essentials of their intimate wedding day, spent with the closest family members.
It was a bit of a wet and windy day, but we still got some great shots outside. Thornbury Castle is seriously photogenic! As well as the newlyweds!
