The Hill at Stroud wedding photography

Julie and Ollie had such a relaxed and amazing wedding day. It was quite a short notice for me, and I only was able to book the couple in because their wedding date had recently become available due to a cancellation.  Julia and Ollie got married at The Hill in Stroud, the lovely manor house built in 1634. Though the manor is located in the town centre, it is entirely secluded from public view. Even the couple themselves commented that they never knew there was a venue in the centre of Stroud.

The Hill (Stroud) wedding

Officially Julia and Ollie got married 1 year,1 month, 1 day before the wedding celebrations took place. So there was no registrar, no celebrant involved, and the ceremony mostly consisted of the bride and groom’s vows and some readings. Julia also wasn’t wearing a traditional white dress. After the ceremony it was time for some groups and couple’s photos, the speeches and the afternoon tea.

I absolutely love photographing relaxed and unusual wedding days and elopements. And if you’re planning a day like that, please feel free to contact me. If you are planning to have a traditional wedding day please don’t hesitate to contact me, as I absolutely love photographing big celebrations as well.
