Christening at Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas (South Wales)

JONES’ TWINS’ CHRISTENING

Little twins Mr. and Ms. Jones’ christening (baptism) took place at the Greek Orthodox Church of St Nicholas in Cardiff on the warm and nice day of April. So many relatives and guests arrived from different parts of the UK to witness this event, so almost all church seats were taken.

Little ones had few couples of godparents which is quite common for orthodox Christians (the number of godparents could even reach 20-40 in some cases) – and all the godparents were wearing lovely small brooches with babies initials on their chests.

The baptism ceremony was followed by a reception at a hall nearby the Greek church where yummy authentic greek foods and dishes were served.
